Abstract
A chucking device in a floppy disk drive, having a drive pin extending loosely through a drive pin through hole of a rotor yoke and also through a cutout portion of a magnetic disk and inserted loosely into a drive pin aperture formed in a center hub of a floppy disk, and further having a plate spring member mounted to the underside of the rotor yoke and formed so as to push the drive pin upward and outward. The lower end portion of the drive pin is loosely fitted in a cutout portion formed in the plate spring member, and the cutout portion of the magnetic disk has a conduction path for contact with the drive pin, the conduction path being inclined in a gradually retreating direction as the distance from the rotational axis of the rotor yoke becomes longer.
