Abstract

Solid pigment preparations comprising as pigment at least one metal complex of an azo compound which in the form of its tautomeric structures conforms to the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein PA1 the rings X and Y may each independently bear one or two substituents selected from the group consisting of .dbd.O, .dbd.S, .dbd.NR.sub.7, --NR.sub.6 H.sub.7, --OR.sub.6, --SR.sub.6, --COOR.sub.6, --CN, --CONR.sub.6 R.sub.7, --SO.sub.2 R.sub.8, ##STR2## PA1 alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl and aralkyl, the sum total of the endo- and exocyclic double bonds being three for each of the rings X and Y, PA1 R.sub.6 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, PA1 R.sub.7 is hydrogen, cyano, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or acyl, PA1 R.sub.8 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, PA1 R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl and furthermore, as indicated by the broken lines in the formula (I), may form 5- or 6-membered rings to which further rings may be fused, PA1 R.sub.5 is --OH, --NR.sub.6 R.sub.7, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, the substituents mentioned for R.sub.1 to R.sub.8 which contain CH bonds may in turn be substituted, and …
