Abstract
A photographic element comprises at least one light-sensitive layer on a support wherein the photographic element also comprises a particulate ion exchange material having an average particle size of about 0.01 to about 10 .mu.m and comprising at least one reducing agent ionically bound to an ion exchange matrix.
