Abstract
Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, which comprises a piperidine derivative represented by the following general formula (1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an effective ingredient: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 2 of 3, Y is a hydrogen atom or halogen atom, and X is a formyl group, acetyl group or hydrogen atom.
