Abstract

Aqueous formulations comprising: PA1 i) at least one film-forming polymer A constructed from ethylenically unsaturated monomers M and present in dispersed form in the aqueous formulation, said monomers M comprising at least one monethylenically unsaturated monomer M1 of the formula I ##STR1## PA1 where X, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as defined in claim 1 and PA1 ii) at least one compound B having two or more aldehyde groups are used for coating substrates consisting essentially of polyurethanes.
