Abstract

The present invention relates to novel substituted pyridines/pyrimidines of the formula I ##STR1## where PA1 A is CH or N; PA1 X is NH, O or S(O).sub.q where q is 0, 1 or 2; PA1 Y.sup.1, Y.sup.2 and Y.sup.3 independently of one another are a group of the formula --O--, --CO--, --CNR.sup.6 --, --S(O).sub.r -- or --N(O).sub.l R.sup.6 -- where l is 0 or 1 and where r is 0, 1 or 2, or a group of the formula CR.sup.7 R.sup.8, or PA1 Y.sup.1 or Y.sup.3 replace a direct bond; PA1 Z is a direct bond, NR.sup.9, O, S(O).sub.s where s is 0, 1 or 2, OSO.sub.2, SO.sub.2 O, NR.sup.10 SO.sub.2, SO.sub.2 NR.sup.11, SiR.sup.12 R.sup.13 or ##STR2## PA1 where PA1 U is a direct bond, NR.sup.14 or O; PA1 W is oxygen or sulfur; PA1 V is a direct bond, NR.sup.15 or oxygen; PA1 m and n and 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; where the radicals R.sup.1 to R.sup.15 have the meaning given in the description, to processes for their preparation, to their use as pesticides, fungicides and ovicides and to their use as veterinary medicaments.
