Abstract
Compounds of formula (I), in which the polydispersity Mw/Mn is for example 1; n is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14 the radicals R.sub.1 are for example C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.12 cycloalkyl; R.sub.2 is for example C.sub.-C.sub.l2 alkylene; the radicals A and B* are independently of one another --OR.sub.3, --N(R.sub.4)(R.sub.5) or a group of formula (II); R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which are identical or different, are for example hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl, or --N(R.sub.4)(R.sub.5) is additionally a group of formula (III) with Y being --0--, --CH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2, --CH.sub.2 -- or >N--CH.sub.3 ; X is --0-- or >N--R.sub.6 ; R.sub.6 is for example hydrogen or C.sub.1-C.sub.18 alkyl; R is preferably a group of formula (IV); and B has one of the meanings given for A; with the proviso that in the individual recurrent units of formula (I), each of the radicals B, R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 has the same or a different meaning. The indicated compounds are useful as light stabilizers, heat stabilizers and oxidation stabilizers for organic materials, in particular synthetic polymers. ##STR1##
