Abstract
The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing unit containing a gas-liquid mixture especially for use as a fire extinguishing agent. The mixture contains PA1 a) at least one halogenated carbon or C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 hydrocarbon, PA1 b) a chemical compound having a high stream pressure and a low boiling point, PA1 high solubility in the halogenated compound and a capacity of dispersing the PA1 halogenated compound, and/or an inert gas.
