Abstract

The building compositions comprise hydrophobicizing powders which contain PA1 A) silica as support material and PA1 B) a hydrophobicizing component which is liquid at 10.degree. C. and comprises PA2 B1) one or more organosilicon compound(s) and, if desired, PA2 B2) solvent and/or PA2 B3) water and emulsifier, with the proviso that the powders contain from 5 to 80% by weight of organosilicon compound, based on the total weight of the powder.
