Abstract

New halogenobenzimidazoles of the formula ##STR1## in which PA1 A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and X have the meanings given in the description, PA1 and their acid addition salts and metal salt complexes, PA1 a process for their preparation and their use as microbicides in crop protection and in the protection of materials. New intermediates of the formulae ##STR2## in which PA1 R.sup.12 -R.sup.17 and X have the meanings given in the description, PA1 and processes for the preparation of these substances.
