Abstract

A color photographic silver halide material which is developed as a negative, at least 90 mol % of the silver halides of which consist of AgCl, and which contains a compound of formula (I) or formula (II) ##STR1## in a light-insensitive layer which is further from the support than is each light--light sensitive layer, is distinguished by its improved color reproduction.
