Abstract

Pyrazol-4-ylbenzoyl derivatives ##STR1## where the substituents L, M, X, Y and n have the meanings given in claim 1 and PA1 Q is a pyrazole ring, linked in the 4-position, of the formula II ##STR2## where PA1 R.sup.15 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, PA1 R.sup.16 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl and PA1 R.sup.17 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl or alkylphenylsulfonyl, PA1 where, in the event that Y=C.dbd.O, X is other than NR.sup.23, agriculturally useful salts, a process for their preparation, and their use as herbicides.
