Abstract
A fluorocarbon polymer which includes: repeating units derived from one or more perfluorinated ethers of the formula CF.sub.2.dbd.CFO--(CF.sub.2).sub.m --(O(CF.sub.2).sub.p).sub.n --OR.sub.f.sup.1 wherein R.sub.f.sup.1 is a perfluorinated (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl group, m=1-4, n=0-6, and p=1-2; and repeating units derived from vinylidene fluoride; wherein the polymer has a glass transition temperature of -50.degree. C. or lower and an oxygen to carbon ratio of at least about 0.2.
