Abstract

Substituted propanolamine derivatives and pharmaceutically tolerated salts and physiologically functional derivatives thereof are described. Also described are compounds of formula (I), ##STR1## in which the radicals have the meanings given in the specification and claims, and physiologically tolerated salts and physiologically functional derivatives thereof, and processes for their preparation, are described. The compounds are suitable, for example, as hypolipidemic agents.
