Abstract
Novel compounds of Formula (1) and esters, salts, and physiologically functional derivatives thereof are disclosed. Methods for preparing and using the compounds are also disclosed. Many of these compounds are selective activators of Palpha. The compounds are particularly useful for treating obesity. ##STR1##
