Abstract

A high molecular weight copolymeric polyaspartic ester which has been hydrophobically modified with alkyl or alkenyl radicals having from 6 to 30 carbon atoms. The copolymers are derived from polyamino acids and have a molecular weight, M.sub.w, of about 2500 or above.
