Abstract
Oriented films of polypropylene and ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer are disclosed wherein the ethylene content of the copolymer is from about 40 to 50 mole %. The films are characterized by an improved oxygen transmission rate. Films are readily drawn to 6.times. by 6.times.. Films also exhibit improved resistance to transmission helium gas.
