Abstract

A flavor composition comprising 8-ocimenyl esters of the formula ##STR1## PA1 wherein one of the two radicals R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is methyl and the other is vinyl and one of the two radicals R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 is methyl and the other is ##STR2## PA2 wherein R.sup.5 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl. Such flavor composition can also be mint and/or fruit flavor compositions, wherein the 8-ocimenyl esters have a flavor-enhancing action.
