Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for treating a patient suffering from a mental disorder, comprising administering to the patient an effective 5-HT.sub.1A agonistic and 5-HT.sub.2 antagonistic amount of a compound having the formula (I): ##STR1## or a pharmacologically active salt thereof.
