Abstract
An electroluminescent device which includes an anode, a cathode, and a polymer luminescent material disposed between the anode and cathode, the polymer luminescent material having arylamine moiety has the molecular formula: ##STR1## wherein: PA1 R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen, alkyl group of from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, or aryl or substituted aryl of from 6 to 40 carbon atoms, or heteroaryl or substituted heteroaryl of from 4 to 40 carbons, or a cyano group; PA1 Ar.sub.1, Ar.sub.2, Ar.sub.3, Ar.sub.4, and Ar are each individually aryl or substituted aryl of from 6 to 40 carbon atom; or a heteroaryl or substituted heteroaryl of from 4 to 40 carbons, or combinations thereof.
