Abstract
A compound represented by the formula (1) which is useful as an agricultural fungicide or an intermediate thereof can be obtained by reacting a compound of the general formula (2) with a compound of the general formula (3) in the presence of an acid and reducing the resulted reaction mixture. ##STR1## PA1 wherein, each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 and R.sup.1a to R.sup.4a independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and R represents an alkyl group, alkoxy group, phenyl group or 5-membered or 6-membered heterocyclic group.
