Abstract
The subject of the invention is a glass composition intended to be converted into glass ribbon, comprising the constituents below in the following proportions by weight: SiO.sub.2 55-71% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 >2% MgO 4-11%, and > 8% if Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 < 5% Na.sub.2 O 9-16.5% K.sub.2 O 4-10%.
