Abstract
A reagent is described for incorporating phosphorylation sites into compounds, particularly into proteins and peptides. The reagent has the structureA—B—Cwherein A is a moiety that is specifically reactive with a reactive side chain in the compound, B is a linking moiety, and C is a peptide sequence that contains a kinase substrate.
