Abstract

In a process for oxidizing an organic compound containing at least one C—C double bond, or a mixture of two or more thereof, which comprises the step (II) below:(II) reaction of the organic compound or the mixture of two or more thereof with a medium comprising molecular oxygen in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst,the medium further comprises carbon monoxide (CO).
