Abstract

Nonblack elastomers, which have excellent stability against oxidative, light- or ozone-induced degradation, comprise as stabilizers at least one compound of formula I whereinR1 is hydrogen, C1-C12alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl,R2 is hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl, andn is the number 0, 1 or 2. The compounds of formula I are excellently suitable as colour-stable and nonstaining stabilizers and antiozonants for protecting nonblack elastomers against oxidative, thermal, light- or ozone-induced degradation.
