Abstract
A dielectric gasket (10) includes an outer annular disk (50) and an inner annular disk (56) both formed, at least in part, from electrically non-conducting materials. A seal (54) is disposed between an inside diameter (58) of the outer annular disk (50) and an outside diameter (62) of the inner annular disk (56). The outer annular disk (50), the inner annular disk (56), and the seal (54) operate to form an insulating barrier of electrically non-conducting material between adjacent pipe flanges (12, 14).
