Abstract

A cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed. The layer thickness decreasing amount &Dgr;Hd (in &mgr;m) is 0&lE;&Dgr;Hd<5×10−6 per rotatio,n and residual potential variation amount per cm2 is 0&lE;&Dgr;Vr<100 (in V) for 1 A of an electric current generated by charging and exposure.
