Abstract

The invention relates to a cosmetic composition for protecting the skin against ultraviolet radiation of wavelengths between 280 and 400 nm, comprising, in a cosmetic vehicle containing at least one fatty phase, an effective amount of copper (II) bis(3,5-diisopropylsalicylate).The composition can contain, in addition, one or more UV-B and/or UV/A sunscreens.
