Abstract

The present invention relates to aqueous ink jet inks containing a copolymer dispersant comprising at least one polymerized monomer having the general formula:CH2═C(R3)C(O)OXa(C2H4O)b—(C3H6O)c—R4where a=0 or 1; when a=1, X is an akyl, aryl, or alkaryl diradical connecting group of 1-9 carbon atoms; b and c are independently selected from the range of 0-100 provided that b and c are not simultaneously 0; R3 is H or CH3; and R4 is preferably PO3H2.
