Abstract
This invention relates to an antiviral composition for the treatment of plant viruses comprising an effective amount of Tagetes minuta oil, its active constituents, Z-&bgr;-ocimene and dihydrotagetone, or any mixture thereof. The invention also relates to the use of Tagetes minuta oil, its active constituents Z-&bgr;-ocimene and dihydrotagetone, or any mixture thereof for the treatment of plant viruses.
