Benzoylcyclohexanediones and benzoylpyrazoles, their preparation and their use as herbicides and plant growth regulators.There are described benzoyl compounds of the formula (I), their preparation and their use as herbicides and plant growth regulators. In this formula (I), R1, R2, R3 and R4 are various radicals, X is an alkylene chain which may contain a hetero atom and Het is a heterocycle or heteroaromatic ring.
