Abstract
A rigid crosslinked polymer having effective levels of chain entanglement crosslinking produced by a rapid rate polymerization procedure which comprises the steps of creating a radical flux by providing monomer units with an effective amount of an initiator to initiate polymer growth. dispersing the monomers and initiator to form an aqueous dispersion, and heating the aqueous dispersion to a temperature greater than the ten-hour half-life temperature of the initiator.
