Abstract

Polysaccharide-somatostatin analogs of the formula: wherein the somatostatin analog is directly or indirectly coupled from a terminal N-amino group of the somatostatin analog to a polysaccharide, and the polysaccharide-somatostatin analog is provided with an effective negative charge. The compounds are useful in diagnosing and treating cancers.
