Abstract
The present invention refers to a polycyclic dye of the formula (I) whereineach of R1, R2, R4 and R5, independently, is hydrogen, alkyl or alkoxy;R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy or amino; andY is a straight or branched chain C1-8 alkylene group,methods for its preparation and a method for coloring synthetic fibre material or fibre blend thereof using such polycyclic dye.
