Abstract
A method fixes an optical fiber (15) in a connector (10) for an optical plug-in connection. The connector (10) includes a location body (11) having a bore hole (12) to receive the optical fiber (15). In accordance with the method, the optical fiber (15) is inserted into the bore hole (12) of the location body (11) and is fixed therein by bonding with an adhesive (19). Easy and stable bonding is achieved by using a solid chemically reactive adhesive (19) which is reacted when brought into a liquid state and which enables a temperature-resistant connection.
