Abstract
Disclosed is a molten metal submersible pump system which includes a unitized body which acts as its own jig during assembly to precisely align the motor mount framework, the pump body, the pump base, and the pump shaft. Further disclosed is such a pump system which provides greater than normal surface area and heat sink mass, which has resulted in an increased useful life of the pump system between required maintenance and replacement of parts.
