Abstract

A conductive paste containing no Pb and able to suppress heat generation in a sintered ceramic body, and a medium and high voltage ceramic capacitor with thick film electrodes formed thereof, are provided. The conductive paste containing substantially no Pb is composed of an Ag powder, a glass powder having on a % by mole basis, 30<MO≦40; 10≦Bi2O3≦60; and 10≦B2O3≦60, where M indicates at least one alkaline earth metal, and a vehicle. The medium and high voltage ceramic capacitor provides thick film electrodes made of the aforementioned conductive paste on two end faces of the sintered ceramic body made of, for instance, barium titanate.
