Abstract

The first embodiment of the present invention provides a composition, which includes:an aqueous phase dispersed in an oily phase;wherein the oily phase includes at least one particle of a crosslinked solid organopolysiloxane elastomer having at least one oxyalkylene group,and wherein the aqueous phase includes at least one crosslinked and at least partially neutralized poly(2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulphonic acid) polymer. Other embodiments of the present invention provide methods of using the above-identified composition, compositions containing same, and a method of preparing water-in-oil emulsions.
