Abstract
The invention relates to compounds of Formula 1 and to pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, and prodrugs thereof, wherein X, Y, Z, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are defined herein. The invention further relates to methods of making compounds of Formula 1 and to pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of Formula 1. The invention is also related to methods of treating diseases and disorders such as, but not limited to, bacterial and protozoal infections which comprise the administration of a compound of Formula 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or prodrug thereof.
