Abstract

Layered heat-shrinkable films disclosed herein are suitable for labels on PET bottles requiring label fitting and heat shrinkage at a high speed, which film has at least three layers, that is, both outer layers and an intermediate layer, wherein the heat shrinkability in the main shrinkage direction of the film is 20% or higher after treatment in hot water at 70° C. for 5 seconds and 35% to 55% after treatment in hot water at 75° C. for 5 seconds and 50% to 60% after treatment in hot water at 80° C. for 5 seconds, and the compressive strength of a label formed from the film meets the following formula (1): Y>X2.2 where Y is compressive strength (mN) and X is film thickness (&mgr;m).
