Diesel fuel compositions containing oxygenated compounds derived from tetrahydrofurfuryl having to the general formula: in which —X— is chosen from:—O— and —O—[CH2—O]n— with n comprised between 1 and 20and —R is chosen from:alkyl groups containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms; andgroups containing a tetrahydrofurfuryl unit.
