Abstract

A color-developing agent of the formula (1-1): wherein X represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and Z represents a carbamoyl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, or aryloxycarbonyl group. An azo dye of the formula (2-1): wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and A represents a group of atoms necessary to form the azo dye by the compound of formula (2-1). A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing any of the color-developing agent and the azo dye in at least one photographic constitutional layer.
