Abstract

A halogen-substituted reactive polysiloxane compound has a number average molecular weight of 400 to 100,000 and is represented by the formula Y—{C(R3)(R4)}c—CH2CH2—Si(R1)(R2)—{O—Si(R1)(R2)}d—CH2CH2—{C(R3)(R4)}c—Y, in which Y is (X)a(R)bSi or (X)c(R1)f—Bz—C(R5)i(X)j; X is a halogen atom selected from F, Cl, Br and I; R is an alkyl group from C1 to C20 including methyl, ethyl or propyl; R1, R3, R4 and R5 are a hydrogen, an alkyl group from C1 to C20 including methyl, ethyl or propyl, or a halogen-substituted alkyl or silane group; R2 is defined as R1, or (X)g(R3)hC—{C(R3)(R4)}c; a is an integer from 1 to 3, and b is an integer from 0 to 2, wherein a+b=3; c is an integer from 0 to 1000; d is an integer from 1 to 50000; e and f are independently an integer from 0 to 4, wherein e+f=4; g and h are independently an integer from 0 to 3, wherein g+h=3; i and j are independently an integer from 0 to 3, wherein i+j=3; and Bz is a benzene ring.
