Abstract
A ventilation device includes a centrifugal fan (24) capable of rotating in one or both directions, placed in an air inlet chamber (C) and delivering air towards the motor (1). The air stream (F1) delivered by the fan (24) is split into an inner stream (F2), directed towards the interior of a confinement space (E) containing at least the rotor (5) of the motor (1), and an outer stream (F3) directed towards ducts (31) for cooling the stator (8) of the motor (1). The cooling obtained is particularly effective while the risk of soiling the motor is low.
