Abstract

A method for preparing an antifoaming composition containing:a) at least one compound of formula (I):(Z)y-(G)x—O—RA  (I); b) at least one compound of formula (II):Z—O—[CH2CH(R1)—O]n—Ra  (II); c) optionally one or more compounds of formula (IV):(G)x—O—RA  (III), and d) optionally one or more compounds of formula (IV):HO—[CH2—CH(R1)—O]n—RB  (IV).
