Abstract

A vehicular cooling system and a related method are disclosed as including a heat-source heat radiator 11 for cyclically supplying coolant water to a heat source 1 for cooling the same, and a moistening-water-condenser heat radiator 19 for cyclically supplying coolant water to and cooling a moistening-water recapturing condenser 5 which condenses and recaptures water from exhaust gases of the fuel cell 1 for moistening the same. A control unit 45 outputs a drive signal to a pump 37 and a distributor 33 to allow a nozzle 27 or a nozzle 29 to inject water to cool the heat radiator 11 or the heat radiator 19 under a condition when a coolant water temperature sensor 41 detects the presence of a temperature of coolant water in the heat source 1 exceeding a given threshold or when a liquid volume sensor 43 disposed in a water tank 9 detects the presence of a moistening water volume remaining below a given threshold and a condition when a moisture sensor 47 located at rear surfaces of the heat radiators 11, 19 detects the presence of moisture remaining below a given threshold.
