Abstract
A method for reduction of natural system oscillations in an electric motor which is operated using a converter with a voltage intermediate circuit, by periodically decoupling the voltage intermediate circuit (UZK) from the supply mains system (N) at times which are synchronized to triggering equipment for the input converter (E), in particular for as long as current is flowing through the mains system input inductor (LK).
