Abstract

There are described compositions comprisinga) an emulsion crude rubber, synthetic latex or natural rubber latex subject to oxidative, thermal, dynamic and/or light-induced degradation, andb) as stabilizer at least one compound of formula I wherein R1 is C8-C20alkyl;and optionallyc) as further stabilizer at least one compound of formula II wherein R2 is C8-C12alkyl, R3 is hydrogen, C1-C12alkyl, cyclohexyl, 1-methylcyclohexyl, benzyl, &agr;-methylbenzyl, &agr;,&agr;-dimethylbenzyl or —CH2—S—R2,R4 is C1-C12alkyl, benzyl, &agr;-methylbenzyl, 60 ,&agr;-dimethylbenzyl or —CH2—S—R2, andR5 is hydrogen or methyl.
