Abstract
A cemented carbide seal ring has at least one hard phase in a binder phase based on Co, Ni and Fe which results in a content Fe, Ni and Cr of less than 50 &mgr;g/l of each in a leach test with deionized water at 85° C. performed according to the requirements of British Standard BS6920: Section 2.6: 1996.
