Abstract
The invention concerns a guide (10) for the web, such as the wire or felt, in a paper machine/board machine. The guide is formed by a bearing housing (12) at one end of a guiding roller (11) in such a way that the bearing housing (12) includes a curved surface as the rolling surface (13). An actuator (14) is adapted to roll the bearing housing along a stop face (T1), whereby by using the actuator (14) an essentially linear transfer is given to a shaft stub (11a1) pivoted by a bearing (15a1) in the bearing housing (12).
